inspite of number of reported incidents of female foeticide, child abuse and disgraceful acts against women the number of girl Sachin and Rajeshri More has adopted a 19 days old baby girl.They recently visited Vahal sai mandir to seek sai baba’s blessings. Ravisheth Patil founder president of Sai Sansthan honored the couple for their nobel deed.
Adoption has become a common phenomenon in India over the recent years. In contrast to the rapid increase in population, adoption helps to curb the alarming growth.
Interestingly a total of 3,531 children, including 2,061 girls, were adopted in India during the one year period ending March 31 with Maharashtra recording the highest number of adoptions among states, according to government data.
As per data from the Child Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), 1,470 boys and 2,061 girls were adopted from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020.
In the context of widespread and generational preference for sons across cultures in the country, an official said people’s mindset is slowly changing and they are becoming more accepting towards adopting girls.
Ravisheth said we are surrounded with many double standard faces who will shout loudly for saving girls,but in their own families they will do all the possible things to deliver a baby boy.Mr and Mrs More deserves special appriciation as they have set an example infront of entire society.Mr and Mrs More feels that their house has turned into complete home by entry of a baby girl.
