APMC police arrested the accused in 36 hours for brutally murdering and mutilating the body.

Reason for murder is financial exchange

तhe body parts found in a plastic bag in APMC market belonged to Ravi alias Ravindra Ramesh Mandotia (30) and his relative Sumit Kumar Harish Kumar Chauhan (27) had killed him through financial exchange.The investigation has concluded that the evidence was destroyed by brutally killing him and dumping his body parts in different places.
        
In the absence of any evidence, the APMC police identified the deceased in the murder case and arrested the accused Sumit Kumar Chauhan within 36 hours, said Commissioner of Police Bipin Kumar Singh.
       The deceased Ravi Mandotia was staying in Ghansoli. The accused in his murder, Sumit Kumar, was staying in Khairane village.The two were distant relatives of each other.both of them were doing cleaning work in different buildings in Koparkhairane.Ravi Mandotia had borrowed money from Sumit Kumar a few months back. But Ravi was reluctant to pay. So the two had been arguing for the last two and a half months.Sumit Kumar was constantly demanding his money from Ravi. But Ravi was threatening to kill him if he asked for money.So Sumit Kumar was afraid that it would really kill him.He decided to kill Ravi before Ravi could kill him.
         On the evening of September 9, when Ravi’s wife went to the garden with her children, Sumit Kumar was sitting with Ravi at his house for a drink.At this point, he took the opportunity to kill Ravi by slitting his throat with the help of a chopper.He then chopped up his body with the chopper  in the bathroom and stuffed it into a plastic bag.He then dumped his limbs on the road leading from Mathadi Chowk in APMC Market to Puneet Corner.His body was dumped at Shilphata, while his head was buried in the ground at the back space of Khairane village,
Two days later, on Sunday morning, after finding pieces of both arms, legs and thighs in a blue bag at the APMC market, APMC police seized the pieces and tried to find the head and torso of the deceased with the help of a dog scout, but police did not succeed.Therefore, the APMC police had registered a case of murder and started investigation to identify the deceased.
           Under the guidance of Circle-1 Deputy Commissioner of Police Suresh Mengde, Senior Inspector Vikas Ramugade, Assistant Inspectors Sagar Takle, Wasim Sheikh, Gajanan Kadale, Shewale, Jhanjurne, Sub-Inspector Awhad, Police Constable Dhumal and their team started searching for the missing person.The search operation found that the description of Ravi Mandotia’s missing complaint lodged at Koparkhairane police station matched that of the deceased found in the APMC market.Further inquiries  revealed that the body parts found in the APMC market belonged to Ravi Mandotia, who went missing from Koparkhairane.
         The APMC police then arrested the accused Sumit Kumar Chauhan from Koparkhairane by inspecting the CCTV cameras and conducting a technical investigation.However, he could not erase the tattoo of Ravindra and Hanuman on one hand of the late Ravi Mandotia. Ravindra and Hanumana’s tattoos on their faces enabled the police to identify the body.Accused Sumit Kumar, who was arrested in the murder case, has been working as a butcher in a meat shop in his native Uttar Pradesh for a year and a half.
