Panacea Director Santosh Singh elected as District Chairman of Inner Wheel Club

Panacea Hospital Director Santosh Singh has been elected as the District Chairman of Inner Wheel Club District 313, a leading social sector club.She accepted the post of chairman at the installetion ceremony, which was held in Khandesh banquets and online on July 1.
More than 500 members attended the installation ceremony and 37th District Assembly (Sanjog) event.There are four clubs of Inner Wheel Club operating in Panvel. Santosh Singh, a member of the Inner Wheel Club of New Panvel from all the four clubs, became the first District Chairman from Panvel.
Santosh Sing is recognised as iron lady among the inner wheel circle.
       Incumbent District Chairman Anuradha Chandak conferred the post of District Chairman on Santosh Singh for the current year.MP and former Minister of State for Uttar Pradesh Anupriya Patel was present online at the Zoom meeting as the guest of honor for the event.Saroj Katiyar, Association President of the Inner Wheel Club was present at the presidency.Saroj Katiyar is currently leading 27 districts in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.Rachna Malpani was appointed as the District Vice Chairman, Dr. Shobhana Palekar as the District Secretary, Mukti Panse as the District ESO, Lata Shivshankar as the Treasurer, Dr. Asha Deshpande as the District Editor and Dr. Deepshikha Pathak as the District Editor.
      Guiding the audience at the installation ceremony, MP Anupriya Patel said that even in the 21st century, it is a tragedy that we have to discuss women’s empowerment, women’s dignity and women’s equality.In order to empower women, the society should nurture the boys in the household.instead of inducting boys the restrictions are imposed on the girls in the house.Parents have tendency to control the dressings,education, freedom,choices of girls.If parents put such restraint on boys, the rate of violence against women will decrease drastically.
    Anuradha Chandak appriciated Santosh’s work.She said that Santosh is a excellent leader,who believes in teamwork.Her soft-spoken attire and go getter attitude will keep the flag high of district 313.
       Expressing her feelings, Santosh Singh said that it is only due to the cooperation of family members and co-members of the club that I got an opportunity to become district chairman.I will definitely deserve the trust that the president of the association Saroj Katiyar has shown in me.After that, Santosh Singh made a presentation in front of the audience about the various activities that the club is going to do.She said that the emphasis will be on women’s health, education and employment. She also gave an overview of the excellent activities done by the club.
      The Inner Wheel Club of New Panvel worked tirelessly to organize this wonderful event.Under the guidance of New Panvel Club President Namrata Sachdev, Conveyor Mona Jethwa, Co Conveyor Sushma Karnik, Smriti Vishwas made the event a success with perfect planning.
