Navi Mumbai crime branch police saves many lives

Supplied oxygen with prompt action which will last for 40 days.

Last week there was a sudden shortage of oxygen for the patients undergoing treatment at the Life Line Hospital in Panvel.The Navi Mumbai Crime Branch police rushed to hospital and within few hours the oxygen supply was restored, saving the lives of many patients.
Life line hospital in Panvel is pioneer in providing medical facilities.It’s  a multispeciality Hospital with critical care unit.This hospital is under the management of Dr Mr and Mrs Patil.This hospital is also treating covid Positive patients. Ventilators and oxygen bed facility is also available with hospital.Fifteen policemen from NaviMumbai, Raigad, highway controlling and their families are undergoing treatment at Life Line Hospital. Technician suddnly noticed that oxygen stock is not sufficient and it wil last for next 4 to 5 hours only.Hospital officials were working on a war footing to make it available.If oxygen supply would not have been restored then hospital will have to shift the patients who are on life support.This would have cost few lives.The director of hospital, Paragdada Bedse, requested the Navi Mumbai Police for oxygen supply.Dr. B G Shekhar Patil came to know about this, he handed over the responsibility of providing oxygen to Assistant Commissioner of Police Vinod Chavan and Senior Inspector of Police Balasaheb Kolhatkar.Kolhatkar rushed to Oxygen manufacturing plant at Mahape along with his colleagues Satish Sarphare and Atish Kadam.They could manage to get 25 cyllenders which will last for 40 days.
Navi Mumbai crime branch is in limelight because of this noble act.Their prompt action has saved many lives.Director Paragdada Bedse said that these officers are like angels.
