The villagers have started an indefinite protest in front of the BPCL entrance from Monday on the initiative of the Bharat Petroleum Project Affected Struggle Committee to demand immediate recruitment of the remaining project affected people.

Labor leader Mahendra Gharat expressed his support for this movement. The rest of the BPCL project victims in Bhendkhal village should be included in the job immediately. We want to continue our struggle till the project victims get justice. “We are with you in this struggle,” he said.

Raigad District Congress Committee Vice President and District Spokesperson Milindji Padgaonkar, Raigad District Intake President Kirit Patil, Raigad District Congress Committee General Secretary Ram Bhagat, Raigad District Women’s Congress Vice President Mrs. Sandhyatai Thakur, Naresh Mhatre, Laxman Thakur, Suryakant Thakur, Lankesh Thakur, Ajit Thakur, Vivek Mhatre, Anand Thakur, Aditya Gharat and a large number of project affected villagers were present.
